Crazy Dangerous by Andrew Klavan

Do right. Fear nothing. That is the mantra Sam Hopkins comes to know as his own. Sam starts his journey as a rather typical preacher’s kid who is not quite popular, but wanting that to change. Like any high school student, he makes questionable choices which put him in awkward, and even dangerous, situations. Yet, it’s the wise choices he makes (which may not seem exactly wise at the time) that lead him on God’s true path. Sam finds himself defending the “crazy” girl, Jennifer, who sucks him into her possibly prophetic world and leads him to be the person God wants him to be. Throughout this wild ride, Sam Hopkins, Jennifer’s “magic friend,” grows and flourishes in the challenges God puts before him.
Crazy Dangerous by Andrew Klavan is a wonderful and exciting coming-of-age-in-a-grand-adventure story. Klavan’s style keeps the reader wanting more, waiting to see what Sam will do next. Full of interesting twists, Crazy Dangerous is well worth the read, for adults young and old.
