Flowers at the Newton

Our second night in Scotland, we stayed in Nairn (northern Scotland – near Inverness) at the Newton Hotel. It was an absolutely lovely old manor house turned hotel with fabulous history – Charlie Chaplin used to stay there every summer. They had three Highland cows (named Haggis, Neeps, and Tatties) in the front yard and beautiful flowers in a quaint side garden that I explored during breakfast time the next morning.
