For me, Max Lucado books are like warm, peanut butter cookies – they hit the spot every time, filling me with a pleasant and satisfying happiness. And Grace doesn’t disappoint. Grace is one of those topics that, as a Christian, you think you know, you feel you’ve got the inside scoop on it. Yet, as with all of his works, Lucado takes his readers (every one of us – from the lifelong Christian to the seeker) to a deeper, more thorough understanding of grace than you ever imagined possible. And he does it all in typical Lucado style – with a more-than-satisfying combination of interesting stories and fascinating correlations between those stories and the Word of God. One of my favorite correlations in Grace was about a man who was stabbed in the head and our need to trust in God when we confess our sins. Sound bizarre? Read the book – you’ll love it! Plus, with each word you read, you’ll find yourself growing closer to the only One who can gift you with grace. Grace is a book I was blessed to read, and you will be, too!
